Logo Design Brief

We are in need of a new logo for our Shipping company called 'N.V. Best Maritime Services' located in Suriname. We currently represent a limited number of shipping brands, however, we will soon be the agents for a major international carrier out of the US and are therefore in need of rebranding.

We would like to see designs that utilize a text based logo with the name 'N.V. Best Maritime Services' highlighted. It would be best to use a combination of various blended shades of blue and grey for contrast, with a white background which are in line with the new carrier’s color scheme. Preferably lighter coloring, unless the darker shades are used in a colour transition. A ship or other maritime related graphic is a MUST, preferably a container ship.

The final design should communicate modern professionalism, as we wish to stand out among the many other similar service providers, in a somewhat old fashioned industry that is typically not considered exciting.

Attached is an example of a potential layout, however please provide your own unique/preferred style, lettering and graphics. Transition coloring on the lettering and ship graphic is also encouraged, but not mandatory.
