Book Cover Design Brief

I would like a really eye catching book cover: it needs to be funky but chic, colourful but sleek, not a typical ‘baby book’, no photos.

I keep getting the endless summer film poster in my head as inspiration but maybe with a mum / dad / couple / holding a baby or a baby crawling at their feet, or both. Not too obvious a rip-off! Please don’t let that limit you though - new ideas in that sort of theme very welcome.

I am appealing to mainly mums, but dads too, who like to travel to nice places. Not quite 5 star maybe but they’d like it to be. Good incomes, regular holidays with kids in tow. Likely concerned about the environment but not prepared to sacrifice travelling, possibly some eco travel involved.

Skiing / beach etc , not package holidays. More AirBnB, nice resorts. Long haul plus short haul. Not camping or roughing it.

My title is still work in progress btw but along those lines. Probably something shorter (3-4 words?) with a longer tag line (incase you need to know that for your design).
