Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new online pet care and supplies store. My store will be selling pet toys, clothes, beds and grooming devices.
I would like to design to be modern, clean, and contemporary with a fun, quirky twist. Think more fashion logo than standard pet store.
As part of the design I would like a french bulldog and cat in a contemporary cartoonish style - I would like this to look super cute and fun. It is important that people fall in love with this brand.
I like the font Khula - happy to see something similar if it looks better.
I would like the logo to be mainly black/white/grey however I am open to small uses of colour with the dog & cat design - I have attached my colour scheme for you to refer to.
I have attached 2 logos I like for you to draw inspiration from. Please only use these as inspiration though as I would like something original.
