Logo Design Brief

American Tool & Engineering, Inc., a custom tooling company based in Joplin, MO, is in need of a new logo. The logo is not required to include the company name, but we are open to text/non-text designs. To give you a brief idea of the evolution of the company logo since 1973, I've attached images of AECI's past and present logos. We are trying to move away from a dated, letterhead-style logo to something more modern and sleek.

This logo design will correspond with a website redesign. You can see the current design and a mockup for the potential new design below:
