Logo Design Brief

I'm a YouTuber named Sunlesskhan, and I'd like an update/refresh on my current logo/avatar which is based on an older photo of my face. You can see how it's used here: https://www.youtube.com/sunlesskhan

What I'm looking for:
-The same style as my current logo (minimal, clean look, greyscale colors)
-But professionally redesigned with a newer photo

I want to keep the same brand identity - I just want a logo that looks better. I don't know how else to describe it other than "better" but maybe you'll see what I mean. It wasn't necessarily drawn poorly, I just think a professional designer could do a better job and I'd like to see someone take a crack at it!

I've also attached a newer photo to base the new logo on. If you need a higher quality photo or have input on a better pose/expression, I'm open to taking more photos as well to help!
