Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design that reflects the nature of our Gothic, horror, and steam-punk/ Victorian retail store. We have plans to expand to a brick & mortar store. We sell, Horror FX makeups (masks), dark art, Gothic/ alternative clothing, home decor, gifts, and themed photography. This is not considered a child friendly business due to dark content, so please convey that in the Logo. The overall feel of the logo should be that we are a place that houses creepy and vintage style things that are odd, intriguing and make you wonder what you'll find next.
Target Market(s)
Males and females 13-45 who enjoy heavy metal, horror movies, Gothic/Victorian era, and steam-punk style items. Almost exclusively adult clients with tattoos and piercings.

- Must have business name integrated into logo.
Nice to have
- Some ideas to work with could be: haunted house silhouette, monsters (not zombies), creepy (dormant) trees, gravestones (not crosses), gears, black birds, bats, black cats, or anatomical images. Grey scale or black, with dark purple. Optional colors could be blood red,etc, but would like to keep design colors to a limited palette. Classic monsters, vampire, mummy, werewolf, skeletons would be great to see. I like good use of negative space in designs as well.
Should not have
- Should not include spiders (/w exception of webs), serpents, pink, jewels, Halloween treats, ZOMBIES, crosses. No stencil style fonts. Whimsical child type Halloween images. Limited blood drips on fonts, ect.
