Graphic Design Brief

Matt and Alex are looking for a logo to use for their wedding. Matt and Alex met at Northwestern University in Chicago during the beginning of their freshman year of college. They started dating right away and are now getting married 5 years later. Matt (last name Nabavian) is from Long Island, New York and studied economics and math. He is now working for a real estate investment firm. Alex is a Swede who grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and she played golf in college for the Northwestern women's golf team. She is now studying to become a doctor. Matt and Alex are looking for a logo that speaks to their conservative natures but also to their young and modern style. Their wedding will be elegant and classic mixed with a simple, modern feel. The wedding will be a traditional Jewish wedding and the logo should ideally give a hint of their roots, identity and commitment to traditional values but yet be modern, fresh, light and simple. This logo could be used for the wedding invitation, napkins, website, papers, etc. for the weekend. The color-scheme for the wedding is black and white (with more white than black), with a subtle hint of green (grass-green). The logo should be made to work in black and white or even just in white.
