Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new psychology/counseling practice. I will be seeing professional, high functioning adults (ages 18-100) to work through mild mental health concerns. The atmosphere is high-end, stylish, calming, and discreet. The logo should not feel playful or low-end. This logo will be used on my website and on office signage.

NOTE: I HAVE CHANGED THE LOGO TEXT SINCE THE ORIGINAL POSTING.
Early feedback suggested that "psychology" is not a meaningful term to most people so I have changed it to "therapy and counseling"

Requirements

Must have

• Must look professional, but not intimidating/scary
  Should feel approachable
  The words "Therapy and Counseling" should be featured more than (or equal to) "Dubuque." Dubuque is the city where we live and so it does not make sense for it to be featured most prominently

Nice to have

• Should be in soothing colors. Avoid reds, blacks, pinks, purples, etc

Should not have

• Overly feminine or loopy font
  Should not feature the word “Dubuque” most prominently, which a lot of designers are doing
