Logo Design Brief

We need to design a logo. We are a group of intensive care researchers who focus on translational research (so taking physiology concepts in the laboratory and translating to the clinical bedside research). We are a group of doctors, nurses, respiratory therapist and clinical scientists and are based in Canada. The final design should be modern and clean but convey the translational aspect of our work. Our group name is C2B2 (C (Squared) B (Squared)). I have uploaded an example of how our name is presented.
