Logo Design Brief

We require a logo for a new magazine for children, from age 7 to 11 years old.
The magazine's primary aim is to publish children's creative work such as artwork, music, poetry, short stories, craft etc etc. So the magazine will be read by children.

We would like to the logo to be bright and colourful (possibly primary colours?) with a little humour, so fun. We want to communicate fun and creativity. It can include an image with the text or have some sort of conceptual image with the text.

But we also need the logo to be effective in black and white or greyscale and also be scaleable.

The name of the magazine 'PK mag' which stands for primary kids.

We publish another magazine for older children, called SpineOut, which I have provided the logo for. It could be similar to this style if this inspires you but this is only a suggestion.
