Logo Design Brief

We need a minimalistic logo for a company that sell gps trackers.

Please see attached logo that we created ourselves but we want to see if anyone can do something better but still minimalistic design with some kind of twist.

We like the font "ubuntu", but it does not have to be just that font.

There should be something next to the text that clearly shows what we are doing, like in the picture or something else, but not too much!
