Logo Design Brief

Hi Designers,

We have a cheeky contest for you to get involved in.

You may be aware that in Australia every year "State of Origin" is played.

"State of Origin" is a game of rugby league (NRL) played between two large states in Australia - New South Wales and Queensland.

Rugby League is one of the most popular sports in Australia where players are household names and games draw large crowds.

State of Origin is a best of three game series - with game 1 already complete.

What we'd like you to do is re-imagine the State of Origin logo in a similar style of the NBA logo (https://blog.logomyway.com/history-nba-logo-design/).

That is, we'd like you to find classic and/or funny photos from previous State of Origin matches and use these as a base for the logo.

- It would be good to retain the current blue and maroon colors (it DOES NOT have to be the same colors as the NBA logo)
- Attached is the current State of Origin Logo
