Logo Design Brief

I have a basic logo designed by a logo generator site. I like the simplicity of the shield, I want something similiar but in color and better quality. Please use it only as an idea to work off and improve.

Colors should be Red, White and Blue ala the US flag - but in shield form.

Logo should also be scalable.

I am not too happy with the existing font - so text/font is your decision - as long as it looks good overall.

I don't necessarily need the circle around the logo

If you feel like the shiled can do with more stripes please add them.
