Logo Design Brief

Baby G’s was an activewear company that was started in 1988 that is being revived this year by my son’s and their sons.

Branded as Baby G’s Gorilla Garmentz (old graphics attached) the company will move forward as Baby GS’ as there are now three generations deep. We’re very much influenced by motocross and snowboarding from a colour and apparel design perspective as we target the committed “gym audience” (who are very committed & disciplined) with bright colours and bold graphics. We’d love to have a logo that downplays the “BABY” and emphasizes the GS’ kind of like the “M” in Monster Energy drinks, we love this type of energy in our new logo. We love black, bright purple and neon green as our focus colours, but it needs to work as a single colour too.

We’re not looking to copy or replicate Monster, but we are looking for a vibrant & exciting logo that adrenalin junkies would crave on all forms of branded merchandise.
