Logo Design Brief

We are seeking a vintage, retro or old school vibed logo with an Emu and Finch preferably incorporated. We will be using the logo as a stamp on oversized price tags, printed on products, labels and on clothing.
Emu and Finch is an Australian company which will sell an array of products.
The Emu is a large flightless bird much like an ostrich but not the same. It is important to us that the designer can recognise the difference and NOT use ostrich elements. Emus are funny, have a bit of an attitude, they are robust and easily found all across Australia.
The finch is solely based on the gouldian finch. The gouldian finch is a very, very small Australian bird that comes in an array of beautiful rainbow colours. It is very rare and endangered (this will be our limited edition range).
The vintage, retro or old school vibe can have some spunk and originality about it.
Black and white or coloured designs are both very welcomed.
Our products are targetted to people who love life, can have some fun and dont take life too seriously 🙂🙂🙂.

Requirements

Must have

• Both birds Emu and a finch included and accurately reflected with correct body shapes and, wingspan, heads etc.

Nice to have

• Retro, funky, vintage old school vibe logo

Should not have

• No Australian flags or maps of Australia please. We are an Australian business but not patriotic. We need to have a distinct size different between the two birds if the are included. An emu is a tall as a person and a finch is smaller than a persons hand. Photos included.
