Graphic Design Brief
I am a doctor that looks after people with chronic pain. At the moment main approach to treating chronic pain is to say that we can't find a cause and you just have to accept the pain and cope with it. This is true for some patients, but I DO NOT BELIEVE this is true for most.
My approach is to identify what is causing the patients pain, treat it and then treat the consequences of their pain. Those consequences are generally "Losses". Loss of work, loss of friends, loss of physical condition, loss of family, loss of identity, the losses are very personal and endless. Because pain takes away so much, I see pain as a thief or pain as the enemy.
"Pain is the Enemy.
It takes away your work, your play, your family, your friends, it takes away life.
Take back what is yours"
OR
"Pain is a thief.
It steals your work, your play, your family, your friends, it steals your life.
Take back what is yours"
This is where we come to "Return to Play" (RTP). RTP is a rehabilitation program that is targeted at taking back what patients have lost. I don't want it to be focussed on "acceptance of a crap life", I want it focussed on taking back what you they have lost and getting after a better life.
To start we need a logo. Probably RTP with return to play under it.
Beyond that I see the words under RTP can change to things like, RTP - Take back what's yours. RTP, Take back work, TRP - take back play, RTP take back family, RTP - Pain is the enemy, RTP - Crush the enemy, RTP - Destroy the enemy etc etc.
I see this as developing into a suite of logos that we then will put onto T-shirts for training, gym towels, water bottles, socks.
To start I just need 1 logo, we can do other projects for the other design work.
Hope this provides the context to what I am looking for.
