Book Cover Design Brief
Hello, and thank you for your interest in designing this cover. I need a new cover for an old book that has just been put on a required reading list for high school students. I want them to be excited about reading this book when they see the two main characters on the cover.
The book trim size is 5.5 x 8.5
Here is the book description:
Life in war-torn Liberia is not easy. It’s especially challenging for Bendu Lewis, a young woman who counsels traumatized survivors while struggling silently with memories of her own war-time experiences. When the warlord who once held her in captivity suddenly appears in Monrovia, Bendu’s darkest memories come flooding back and threaten to unravel everything she’s built. She decides that for her own healing, and for the voiceless victims of the war, she must bring the warlord to justice for the terrible things he did. In her pursuit of Commander Cobra, Bendu finds much more than she bargained for, including the courage to finally confront her own painful war-time secret.

Requirements
Must have
- Book Title: Redemption Road Author: Elma Shaw
Nice to have
- My vision for the cover: Both characters featured. Silhouettes, stock photos, I'm open to anything. Bendu is beautiful and has short hair (see the Kindle version). Commander Cobra is good-looking too, but fearsome. This blurb needs to be on the front cover: "A brave, forgiving, and so necessary work about healing, reclamation, and transformation." -- Tsitsi Dangarembga, Author of Nervous Conditions The award badge also goes on the front cover And these words: The Official WAEC Edition Thank you!

- I do not have rights to use the WAEC logo
