Tattoo Design Brief

I need to get an upper back tattoo design to cover a terrible tribal tattoo from a long time ago. I would like the design to showcase either the view of Mt. Baker from my home town of Anacortes Wa or any other symbols from the pacific northwest, orca whales, ferry boat, trees, san juan islands. then on the bottom of the tatto I would like to include a tie in to San Diego calofornia. I spent 15 years there and would like to connect the tattoo somehow. I spent a lot of time on the beaches, golfing, etc.

I attached some images as bad examples and also an image of the tattoo to cover.
