Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo that fits a video review department for a major league baseball team. The department handles all in game challenges for the Miami Marlins baseball team and has a unique signaling action of putting on a headset to notify the umpires that the team wants to challenge the call. I have attached a previous 'Replay Row' logo from last year, but we are looking for an upgraded logo. The headset is kind of an iconic symbolism to the department so I threw in a simple sample picture of something that could be of interest to the design scheme. I prefer not to use a realistic style headset and more of a 2D imagery. The headset doesn't need to have the microphone on it. I have attached a style guide of the organization to help with any of the color scheme specifics. Ideally I would like to have one main logo that incorporates a team logo from the style guide and then also the same logo that could have the team logo removed for other independent uses. I'm open to any creative text ideas. I picture some form of a headset logo with text between the ear pieces, but I am open to any creativity. If the headset had hands around the outside as if they were putting the headset on, that would be a good idea. As far as a text style, I think a jersey lettering font could make some symbolism to it being a baseball related department. I believe 'Tackle Twill' is a common font style that has a jersey look to it.
