Logo Design Brief

I would like a logo for a new dance & fitness business. We offer lessons in tap, jazz, pilates and barre fitness. I would like this to be black when it is on signage, but be able to look good printed in white for any merchandise. I don't mind having a secondary colour, although I don't want it to be pink, red, orange or yellow. Our studio caters to students from 2 years of age, through to adults. I would like the final design to have an element of flow through it either by way of a symbol, text or shape of the logo.
