eBook Cover Design Brief

I would like a cover design for an ebook. This is the first book of a trilogy entitled 'Dominion'. The design to be such so that it is consistent over the three books. The first book is called 'Clouds', the second 'Trees' and the third, 'Earth'. I have attached the synopsis of the first book here. I have uploaded some examples of the position of the title with relation to the author name. The author name in this case, should just be: Eden (I would like to transmit the impression that, although the book is called Clouds, the concept could be related to the first indications of human society). I am looking for something that represents the prehistoric setting. Clouds are important, but clouds over cliffs on a new land on the horizon. This land was considered to be the land of the dead until the time covered by the novel. It becomes a land of hope. Also, it is a dark novel; life was not easy in prehistory and there were many dangers and unexplained phenomena. It was, effectively, the time when religion evolved. There is plenty of opportunity for mysticism.
