T-shirt Design Brief

DARK BEAUTY is a Classically Influenced - Gothic Alternative - Progressive Rock band.

We are interested in a T-Shirt design which can be modified to fit our facebook cover banner for our band. We are looking for someone that can really illustrate this concept. Our story takes place in a Gothic setting and depicts the tragic tale of the Dark Angel's fall from grace.

The name of our fan club is called *The Seventh Door* which is what this design is about. This door would be an extension of our concept and entrance into this fantasy world.

This design will be used for:
T-Shirts and then the same design will be modified to fit onto our facebook cover as our banner for social media.

Design Needs:
I have included a punch-list of words to describe what we're looking for in this concept.

Gothic
Rustic or Old World
Set into the woods
Mysterious
Colors that would draw you in
Alluring
Secretive

The idea we would like to see is a super tall old world styled door set into the woods and surrounded by giant trees. This could have crooked stairs leading up to it, maybe with a skeleton key through it, and the door could be slightly opened. We don't know what's on the other side but it's alluring enough to walk through. Maybe the skeleton key is already in the door and the words The Seventh Door is written on there. A great project to use your imagination.

The words ***The Seventh Door*** would need to be put on this t-shirt design along with the name of our band ***Dark Beauty***

The lettering we used for our cover artwork is Ringbearer Font

***A great example of the door height*** would be something like the Evanescence door...but of course we don't want to copy this...

I really like the placement angle of this door set back a bit...but the door needs to be much taller and I do like crooked stairs with a very rustic feel to it.

SCROLL WORK ON THE DOOR

THE SKELETON KEY
I would like to see a large skeleton key and the words The Seventh Door would be scrolled on there big enough for us to read. Or maybe this can be letter part of the door.

Imagine you're walking in the woods and you come across a crooked path of steps slightly curved which leads directly to a secret door which is very tall, ornate, and Gothic in design.  Nothing else is around it but giant trees in the woods.  The door is slightly opened.  A light shines through and a skeleton key is in the lock.  It appears to be an entrance into a another world.

We are looking for a realistic and rustic setting in the woods for this design. We would like the door to be very ornate and tall including scroll work and a skeleton key, (please refer to the links we posted) we would love to see an old vintage style lantern that hangs off of one of the giant tree branches near the door or maybe off to the side somehow.
