Logo Design Brief

I need a simple logo that shows the name of the brand. Maffoo Golf.
It needs to have an essence of golf but not be over the top. The picture I have attached is how I write the Maffoo name (It’s my nick name). I would like you to replicate that. I used a simple flag in a hole but you may want to do something different.
I am imaging it as a single colour on a white/clear background. I also like the idea of a bounding box, circle or oval. You may have other great ideas so please go for it.

This logo will be used on clothing labels so it needs to be simple when small.
