Logo Design Brief

The attached sketch was drawn by my then 6 year old son Leo. I love the sketch as it combines childish lines with nice coloring.
We're going to use the logo to put on vintage Alfa Romeos as well as clothing.
The LC on the cap is an abbreviation of the family name Lovejoy-Courrier
I'd like to keep the style of the drawing but just want the lines to be cleaned up.
