Logo Design Brief

We just completed the merger of an industry leading software development team (Pivotal Labs) with a fast-growing IT services company (Amplify Federal). This new team represents a re-birth of the original Pivotal Labs team and concept, under the umbrella of Amplify.

Multiple acquisitions trapped the Pivotal Labs team inside big, slow-moving companies and stunted their growth. Now that they are free of the rules and bureaucracy of big business and back in the startup space with Amplify, they are unleashed and free to grow and innovate again.

We are seeking a new logo for this group, which we are calling "Amplify Labs." This new logo should be founded in the current Amplify Federal logo (using a similar color scheme), but should also pay tribute to the team's origins at Pivotal Labs.

It should involve a prominent icon...something that would stand along as a sticker, pin, or symbol on a tee shirt.

Requirements

Must have

• Must keep same basic structure as the Amplify Federal logo. We are one company. Amplify Labs is just a group within Amplify Federal. We do not want an entirely separate, unconnected, brand identity. We welcome the incorporation of the elements from the Pivotal Labs logo, as this is where our team came from. But the goal is pay respect to our roots while still being Amplify Federal.
