Looking forward for your valuable feedback on my designs.
If you need any change in the design I am open to your suggestions.
Thank you!
I have just increased the project budget for the first place by $300.
Thanks a lot to everyone who has already submitted, or planning to submit their designs for my brief.
I will be providing comments only to those designers who read the brief and whose submissions are close to what I have envisioned. Hope you understand.
The logo needs to be clean, professionals, and easy to read. Don't overwhelm the logo with too many colours, make sure that the company's name stands out and is easy to read, and if you incorporate platypus into the logo, as I mentioned in the brief, place him/her into the grocery store environment (near the shelf? near the trolley or shopping basket? I don't know, please, be creative), and make sure that the mascot has a character and looks as real as possible.
Try to envision a store manager from the 50's-60's, wearing a tie and looking sharp.
Good luck!
Almost everyone who submitted designs so far do not follow the colour palette that I have attached to the brief.
Equally, I’m yet to see anyone getting inspired by the vintage pictures of grocery stores that I have attached to the brief, too.
You may or may not want to incorporate platypus into the logo. From the first designs that I’ve seen so far everyone is really struggling with that.
It’s ok not to incorporate platypus, but you need to use the recommended colour palette, get inspired by the provided pictures, and do your twist on the retro look and feel.
I’m ok with you adding some visual element to the logo, but if you do that, it needs to be relevant and related to the consumer goods industry.
All designs that fail to take the above into account will be rejected with no feedback and with kindly asking you to not submit any more designs.
Hope you understand, guys. I simply cannot repeat the same things over and over again to every designer. That’s why I spent time writing the brief and adding images.
Thanks.
Another important comment based on the submissions that I’ve seen so far.
It needs to be clean and professional logo that doesn’t look like kids book or comics.
Thank you.
