Logo Design Brief

I need a conference logo for a scientific research conference (on herpesvirus) taking place in Montreal, Canada. IHW 2026. This is the 50th anniversary of the meeting, so they would like that highlighted, along with some representation of Montreal and/or Canada. Should include the name of the conference - IHW 2026 (or International Herpesvirus Workshop) , the dates - 11-16 July 2026 and the location - Montreal, Canada

I provided two VERY basic design inspirations provided by my committee (they would like to see the virion be the zero in 50). You can use these designs as inspiration (but refined and polished!), but we would also be very open to seeing something completely different.
