Logo Design Brief
Please consider the opposite meanings in the words "Beauty" and "Dissonance" - certainly not in a heavy handed way, bit with subtlety and some grace. FOR DETAILS- Here is our bio: Beauty in the Dissonance is a dreamericana musical duo comprised of singer/songwriter Laura Katie and award winning singer/songwriter musical storyteller Eric Scott Klein whose music resonates at the intersection of Americana and Dream Pop. Their debut single, Another Fall, cinematically produced by alt-rock icon Barb Morrison (whose fingerprints are found on records from Blondie to Rufus Wainwright), engineered by Grammy winners Jeremy Kinney (credits to be added) and Dan Malsch (credits to be added), mixed by Jonathan Jetter (credits to be added) and mastered by multiple Grammy nominee Chris Gehringer (Dua Lipa, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Jon Batiste, Twenty One Pilots, Janelle Monae, Fun.), is a lush performance which reweaves the tapestry of Americana with a needle dipped in nostalgia and inked in Dream Pop modernity. Their debut EP evokes echoes of Laurel Canyon’s golden age while speaking honestly to the heartbreak and hope of now. Based in NYC, Beauty in the Dissonance sings songs that explore stories of love, loss, and life over time/a temporal plane. Together—or when harmonizing from across a divide—Laura Katie and Eric summon a rare alchemy: the kind of sonic vulnerability that doesn't just invite you in... it asks you to stay awhile.
Decades after meeting at college, Laura Katie and Eric connected again to sing together and compose songs about the time spent living, and the meaning behind shared thoughts, feelings, and the ghosts of their past. Beginning with Another Fall - Beauty in the Dissonance has launched a sound that is timeless. The themes are universal but the lyrics and music are deeply rooted in their artistic, personal, and familial experiences. They aim directly into the heart of life and the haunting passing of time. Its beauty and its dissonance. However you define it. #dreamericana

Nice to have
- A logo that feels like our music genre: dreamericana. We prefer a word mark logo but we are ABSOLUTELY open minded to creative options!
Should not have
