Logo Design Brief

This logo is for a research program using the James Webb Space Telescope. The title of the program is "MOENCH: Measuring Obscured and Emergent galactic Nuclei across Cosmic History". The word "moench" is German for "monk" and it is also the name of a mountain in the Alps, which is located next to a mountain called "Eiger", which was the acronym for our previous research program using the James Webb Space Telescope. We would love an elegant design that incorporates hexagons (reflecting the hexagonal mirrors of the James Webb Space Telescope), galaxies and quasars in the universe, mountains, and/or a monk.
