Logo Design Brief

I'm seeking a modern logo for my new business, Family Education Coaching. I'm an ex primary school teacher and I'm looking to work with families for the benefit of their child's education and future opportunities. It doesn't necessarily focus on educational outcomes but a holistic approach to the child's development but with strong links to school. The business name is 'Family Education Coaching' and the tagline that helps people understand what I do, as it's a unknown role and people might not know what I do, is 'Empowering parents for their child's education'. The logo should incorporate family elements. The design should be simple, yet convey meaning to what I do. It should be professional and 'clean' yet have a warm, inviting feel. I feel a circular design would be good as it represent a holistic approach but I'm not convinced by symmetry. I think a child and adult figure might look good and somehow show development. Although I mention my ideas, I am open to wider ideas and welcome all creative thoughts. Colour scheme wise, again, I am open. I think warm and welcoming colours but equally, I've seen some lovely monochrome ideas. Green might represent growth which could be good but again, I'm open to ideas. I think I'd like 'Family Education Coaching' and 'Empowering parents for their child's education' separate from the logo, easily added under or beside the logo so that it can be added to letter headers and business cards.
