Logo Design Brief

I’m a cricket bat maker in Australia and I need a heritage crest logo designed.

Style:
- Black only
- Vintage trade emblem
- Half-body badger holding a cricket bat vertically
- Double ring crest

Hidden details:
- Tiny crossed drawknives behind the badger
- Subtle snake curve in bottom of crest border

Feel:
1940s toolmaker badge / brewery crest
Not cartoon.
Not aggressive.
Strong and calm.

I was taught how to make cricket bats by Lachlan fisher (famous Australian bat maker). I want to create a logo and sticker design as a tribute to him. I have attached his original sticker design and a copy that I have done myself. I don’t want it to be an exact copy though, I want similar themes with a subtle tribute to him with similar traditional style
