Logo Design Brief

We need a professional logo for Sanctions Sentry — a B2B SaaS
platform that uses AI to screen individuals, companies, and
vessels against global sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU, UK, and
75+ others). Our customers are compliance teams at banks,
fintechs, crypto exchanges, freight companies, and law firms.

BRAND POSITIONING
We sit between two worlds: the authority and precision of a
compliance regulator, and the clean intelligence of a modern
SaaS product. We are NOT a government agency. We are NOT a
generic security company. We are the AI-native compliance tool
that the financial industry has been waiting for. Think: the
credibility of Palantir, the clean design sensibility of Stripe,
the authority of a federal compliance body.

CONCEPT DIRECTION (reference image attached)
We want a unified emblem combining these four elements into
ONE cohesive mark — not four separate icons stacked together:

1. SHIELD — Pointed bottom, Primary Blue (#2E5B9E), the outer
container. Classic compliance authority.

2. FUTURISTIC SENSOR / VISOR EYE — This is NOT a human eye.
It is a mechanical sensor element inspired by sci-fi visor
aesthetics (think Cylon Centurion visor from Battlestar
Galactica) and clean geometric light lines (think Tron
Legacy). The shape is a narrow horizontal slit — thin,
wide, mechanical — like a visor opening, not an organic
almond eye. The body curves smoothly like an aerodynamic
form, but angular accents cut into or around it — like a
sports car headlight where flow meets precision.

INTERIOR — Designers may explore either or both options:
Option A: Horizontal scan lines inside the slit — like
data being read or a display rendering information
Option B: Circuit/grid pattern inside — like a digital
processor or microchip layout visible through the visor

The sensor should feel aware — clearly technology, but
you know it's watching. An intelligent system actively
monitoring, not a passive lens.

GLOW: Barely perceptible — like backlit glass or a screen
seen through frosted material. Just enough to feel powered
on. NOT a heavy glow, NOT a lens flare. Subtle.

3. FINGERPRINT / DATA TEXTURE — The fingerprint pattern from
the reference can remain as texture inside the sensor slit,
but it should feel like data being displayed ON a screen —
not a biological fingerprint. Think: biometric data rendered
on a heads-up display.

4. SCANNER CORNER BRACKETS — Four L-shaped targeting corners
framing the entire emblem in Light Blue (#5B9BD5). Represents
digital scanning and the AI screening process.

COLORS (use only these):
- Dark Navy: #1B2A4A (backgrounds)
- Primary Blue: #2E5B9E (shield)
- Steel Blue: #3A7CA5 (sensor/eye element)
- Light Blue: #5B9BD5 (highlights, brackets, "SENTRY" text)
- White: #FFFFFF ("SANCTIONS" text)

TYPOGRAPHY
- "SANCTIONS" — bold, uppercase, white
- "SENTRY" — lighter weight, uppercase, wide letter-spacing,
light blue (#5B9BD5)
- Stacked centered beneath the mark

DELIVERABLES
1. Mark only (emblem, no text) — must work at 32x32 favicon
2. Horizontal — mark left, wordmark stacked right
3. Stacked — mark above, two-line wordmark below
4. All versions on dark (#1B2A4A) AND transparent backgrounds
5. Vector files: SVG + AI or EPS
6. PNG exports at 1x and 2x

DO NOT:
- Human eyes — the sensor must feel mechanical/futuristic
- Padlocks, globes, scales of justice
- Heavy 3D, drop shadows, or bevels
- Law enforcement or police aesthetic
- Dark/menacing tone — we are the solution, not the threat
- Heavy glow effects or lens flares
- Completely different direction from the attached reference

The attached image is our chosen direction. Refine and elevate
it with the futuristic sensor replacing the organic eye.
