Brief: New Logo Design

We need a new logo for our pool manufacturing brand.

Brand name:
Pools Western Cape

Slogan:
Your Local Pool Manufacturer

About the business:
We are a fibreglass pool manufacturer based in the Western Cape, South Africa. This brand will focus on the manufacturing side of the business and should feel professional, modern, clean, and trustworthy.

Design direction:
Please use the attached brand kit as style reference. We want the new logo to stay in the same visual family as our current branding, with the same colour palette and overall feel.

Colours to use:
Please keep to the same or very similar colours from the brand kit:
Deep blue: #005C89
Bright blue: #068DB8
Soft aqua: #8ED4D8
Dark charcoal: #414042

Style we want:
- Clean
- Modern
- Professional
- Premium but approachable
- Fresh, water-related, and recognisable
- Strong enough to work across website, signage, social media, print, and branded clothing.

Important:
- Please keep the style aligned with the attached brand kit
- We like the existing use of curves / water / pool-inspired shapes, but we do not want a copy of the current BK Pools logo
- It should feel like a sister brand / sub-brand, not a completely different identity
- The design must be original, neat, and easy to read
- Avoid clutter, overused generic pool icons, or overly busy effects

Concept presentation request:
To help us evaluate designers and creative direction before committing to a final design path, please present logo concepts in a few variations if possible:
- one option with the slogan included
- one option without the slogan
- one option where the slogan is treated as a more subtle secondary element
This will help us see what works best visually across different branding applications.

Portfolio request:
Please also share examples of similar logo or branding work you have done before, especially for service, manufacturing, construction, home improvement, or related industries.

This is a Western Cape pool manufacturing brand, so the logo should feel local, credible, established, and memorable. We want something polished and versatile that can stand confidently on its own while still feeling connected to the existing brand family.
