T-shirt Design Brief

We’re celebrating 50 years of Steelway Building Systems and are looking for a unique, creative t-shirt design that our employees will be proud to wear.

This is a special milestone for us, and we want designs that feel meaningful, high-quality, and timeless, while still allowing for creative interpretation.

What to Include

Our Steelway Building Systems logo (provided)
Our 50th anniversary badge (provided)
“Since 1976” or a reference to our founding year
Optional: “Aylmer, Ontario” or “Proudly Canadian”
We Are Ardent is often said or representation of our parent company, Ardent Industries (logo included as well, not necessarily have to be used)

Design Direction

We’re open to a range of creative directions, including:
Retro-inspired concepts that highlight our long history
Modern/forward-looking designs that align with our current brand
A blend of heritage + future

Designs can be bold or subtle, front-only or front + back. We’re open to layouts that feel premium and wearable, not overly busy or overly corporate.

Canadian flag or subtle Canadian elements
Industrial or steel/building-inspired visuals
Typography-driven designs

Overall Goal

Create something our team will genuinely want to wear, not just a standard company shirt. We’re looking for originality, strong visual appeal, and a design that represents both our history and where we’re going.
