Logo Design Brief

I own a sports cards shop + website. I conduct a lot of my business on Whatnot by conducting group card breaks. I work mostly with soccer cards.
I'm looking to modernize my logo – make it look a bit more sleek and eye catching. I have a current logo that I use, but it's a bit clunky. I generated a more sleek one recently using AI and I think I would like something closer to that without it constituting "AI Slop." I just like the AI design because it's a little bit more sleek.

I have attached an image of my current logo (the less "modern" looking logo) as well as the AI logo I generated (more modern, but very AI and perhaps a little harder to read).
