I left a concept in the mix that takes a different angle on the brief — the tool isn't just referenced; it's structural to the mark itself. Worth a look when you get time

Hello to all!
I am writing on this public discussion board for all of the designers to see, given the ENORMOUS volume of competitors (more than 700 designs submitted so far).
I want to update everyone with the following general feedback: so far, the designs that are RISING TO THE TOP are the ones where it is clear that the designer has taken the time to fully integrate our business model, and uses design expertise to apply their own outside-the-box thinking rather than just copy-pasting or slightly modifying concepts in the brief.
To clarify- the uploaded image is only for reference. There is no need to be too literal in the use of a mascot, and surprisingly the best designs so far don’t even use any mascot at all, but integrate aspects of the business model such as the homeowner’s search via zip code, or the ease of finding a competent local professional ready and available to provide solutions.
In short, this note is to encourage all of the participants to use their own professional knowledge of design to develop a logo that is visually simple and conveys the business concept parsimoniously.
We’ve got more time, guys. Let’s do this!
ps: cartoony or overly complex images will be eliminated immediately.
Best of luck to everyone!
