Logo Design Brief

Project: Logo Design for Amazon Infrastructure Security - Security Products and Services (SPS) team

About Us:
We're a security team within Amazon Web Services. Our focus is physical and digital infrastructure security — including access control, security surveillance, and perimeter detection. We protect the systems and facilities that power cloud computing at scale.

What I Need:
- 1 primary logo
- 1 wide-format banner variation (for web headers, ~1200x300px)

Design Direction:
- Convey: security, protection, infrastructure, trust
- Motifs welcome: NO shields, NO locks, perimeter lines, circuit patterns, surveillance elements, forged security, globally encompassing
- Style: clean, modern, professional — no clip-art feel
- Minimal text — just "AWS SPS" or "AWS InfraSec SPS" integrated into the design
- The icon/symbol should carry meaning on its own without relying on text

Color Palette (strict):
- Primary: #232F3E (dark navy) and #FF9900 (orange — use sparingly as accent)
- Secondary: #FFFFFF (white) and #D5DBDB or #879596 (cool gray)
- No other colors

Usage Contexts:
- Wiki/intranet headers
- Slack/Teams avatars (must read well at 128x128px)
- Presentation slides (dark and light backgrounds)
- Printed swag: hoodies, hats, stickers

Deliverables:
- 2-3 initial concepts for review
- Final files: SVG (vector source), AI/EPS, PNG (transparent background, min 3000x3000px), PDF
- Color and monochrome versions
- A dark-background and light-background variant

UPDATE:
- AWS branding requirements are included in the uploaded picture "aws_branding"
- Any depiction of the words or brand "AWS" MUST FOLLOW BRANDING
- After feedback from team, please try to create a logo without a shield or lock
- Ideas include a forge, such as forging security, globally encompassing and related unique ideas
- Please exercise creative freedom to depict the team as you see fit
