T-shirt Design Brief

For my son's bar mitzvah, we will have a basketball tournament for about 40 13-year old boys. I want to buy basketball jerseys for them and use the logo on it. It should be simple so that it will transfer well to the basketball jersey and so that the boys will want to wear the jerseys again.

Perhaps include a subtle Jewish theme? Perhaps subtly include his initials, MU or his name? I don't want it to be centered on his name. The date of the event is April 27, 2014. I don't have any specific ideas about colors.

It should look good on a basketball jersey.
