Logo Design Brief

Refresh the logo for a non-profit trade associate, the Electronic Signature and Records Association (ESRA).

CONSIDERATIONS:
• Creativity encouraged! Modern, crisp, and professional design requested.
• The existing “ESRA” abbreviation, or legacy logo/website color palette do NOT have to be reused unless it fits your design vision. We are not specifying colors to be incorporated for this project.
• The new logo will be a key component in a re-branding initiative underway for the association. This effort will also include a redesign of the association’s website and marketing materials. The URL (esignrecords.org) will continue to be used; however the overall site design, format, content, and functionality will be enhanced.
• Ultimately the winning design will be used as the “cornerstone” for the re-branding project and is intended to inspire the color palette to be used for the website and other marketing items.
• Use cases for the logo will include posting on the website, pdf/printed collateral, and PowerPoint templates.
• The winning logo should be able to convert into grayscale and “reversed out” versions as needed.
• In the future, a goal will be to incorporate the design theme into related membership “badges” and possible award/conference emblems.

OVERVIEW: The Electronic Signature and Records Association (ESRA) is the premier trade association representing electronic signature and records industry adopters and providers. Established in 2006, ESRA helps businesses and the government better understand how they can easily use and accept electronic signatures and records on an enterprise-wide basis. As electronic processes become more prevalent in today’s society, ESRA is creating awareness of the value of electronic processes to the public, businesses and government alike and providing education on the most pressing legal, regulatory and operational issues associated with the use of electronic signatures and records.

ESRA provides a forum for companies from various industries to unite for a common goal – furthering the electronic signature adoption while helping industry professionals remain abreast of changing regulations. With its expansive membership and cross-functional representation, ESRA is uniquely positioned to stay on top of current and future conversations around electronic signatures and records, which makes involvement extremely beneficial for any person or company that in some way touches, or is looking into, this technology.
