Book Cover Design Brief

I need a book cover designed for a new book that I'll be publishing shortly.

Title of the books is "de:humanise" and the slogan is "How to get the most out of your people resources!"

The book is a satirical business guide that is aimed at executives, leaders and new managers. Instead of promoting the rampant rehumanisation of business in this new economic era, we are instead encouraging managers to hark back to the good old industrialist notion of viewing your employees as a resource, not as people. Rehumanisation, we argue, has led our businesses astray and explains why productivity and efficiency are so hard to come by. de:humanisation is our answer and in the book we provide leaders with very practical methods on how to embark on a covert programme of de:humanisation.

I need a cover design that is edgy and clever. The book is not for average employees, but only for managers and leaders. It should attract such readers and discourage lowly staff from picking it up. The cover needs to communicate the nature of the satire we write of. It's a business book, but should not look boring.

The authors are "Aiden G. Choles with Paula Marais".

Hi

Thanks for submitting designs so far.

There are two ideas I'd like to see developed:
1. Checking in your humanity at the reception desk. Like you do with a weapon, bringing in your humanity the workplace is a dangerous thing, so it should be checked in.
2. Employees as assets with asset register stickers. Corporate always catalogue their assets with little bar coded asset registers. I'd like to see some designs that show how your employees are "assetised".
