In my professional opinion, keeping a white background for your headshot will look better than taking the background out. Would you consider my business card submission if I did keep the background intact?

Dear Project Owner, Thank you for your invite,
but as stated in my profile I ONLY accept
"Payment is Guaranteed" projects.
I believe I am speaking for most of the
serious, hard working designers out here.
We have all had bad experiences with Non-Guaranteed
projects,most designers have discovered that
even after spending long hours of our time on the work
itself and after several refinement requests
from the client we still receive no payment,
no feedback & no winner of the contest is declared.
Most of the non-guaranteed projects not only get
extended time after time for periods of up to
3 months & more but in the end the
clients request a refund and have collected
enough ideas to take our work and go get the
job done by a local Graphics Designer in their
area. We have seen this happen over and over
again! If you would like serious designer’s
participation would you please guarantee the
project out of respect for all of us .
Thank You very much for your
understanding....

Hi,
I have never used this service before and I do not know what to expect. Although I appreciate your stance on this, you also have to consider the stance of the customer (in this case me). If you go out for a meal at a restaurant and the food was not cooked properly and they put to much salt in it, would you still pay for the meal even though someone has put time into making it? I see this as if I like what I see I will pay for it. If I don't like it I'm not going to pay for it. However if I see something that is nearly there and I ask someone to revise it slightly, then I am now working with that person and I will guarantee payment as I will have asked for the extra to get it right. Do you think that if I come back to you after seeing your design and then guaranteed payment to get the design spot on, do you think that is something we could do?

Further to what I said before. I have seen a design I like and have asked a small change hence changing to guaranteed payment. Don''t attack people to start with or you will throw away opportunities. Would it not be better to say here is my design (water mark it) and when you are asked to make changes to then say only after you guarantee payment.
