Logo Design Brief
Company Name: NEFTCO
Company Products: Natural gas & Petroleum products (including crude oil and all its derivitatives)
Company Business: NEFTCO, buys/sells/transports/stores all kinds of petroleum products.
Company Service: buy/sell/transport/store petroleum products both locally and internationally. We are setting up our first petrol station very soon, and aim to expand to 5 petrol stations by the end of 2013. A simple/minimalist yet serious and effective logo is a must to attract customers to our petrol stations. Logo must be modern + corporate.
logo must include: Sun (as a source of energy, hence petroleum) and off course the company name NEFTCO. So, an icon of a "sun" plus the company name "NEFTCO".
Successful designer of our company logo shall be appointed to design our company website. White, simple, minimalist website is a must, and the logo must reflect this type of website.
Updates
Ladies & Gents, please do not simply copy and paste a sun vector from websites such as www.shutterstock.com, and then simply add the company name NEFTCO to the sun and submit it as your original design. This is only a waste of my time and ultimately yours. Dont mind if you use those sun vectors as a basis of your design, but at least submit a logo that reflects creativity and originality. Thank you.....

Font: sans serif font is an option, and medium bold, not too bold, not italic, only upright. This type of font will make the company logo/identity visible for motorists to see our petrol stations, yet be serious/modern/professional/conservative/upmarket for our corporate image, as we also have international oil refineries that buy crude oil from us. LOGO MUST NOT BE MORE THAN 2 COLOURS. LOGO MUST BE MODERN + CORPORATE, NO CHILDISH LOGO PLEASE, NO PLAYFUL LOGO PLEASE. BOTH THE "SUN" + COMPANY NAME "NEFTCO" IN CAPITAL LETTERS MUST REFLECT OUR CORPORATE IDENTITY.

A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE SUN IS BP'S (BRITISH PETROLEUM) LOGO. This is just an example, a creative, an original design of a sun is a must.
Should not have
- Please do not include any function of the company's activity as an icon, for example, we do not want an icon of a drop of "oil" simply because we are a petroleum services company, neither do we want an icon of an oil refinery. LOGO MUST HAVE 2 THINGS ONLY, A "SUN" AND THE COMPANY NAME "NEFTCO".....PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A LOGO WITH A SUN THAT MAKES OUR COMPANY LOOK LIKE AN ORANGE JUICE DRINK, OR A SUN THAT LOOKS LIKE A SUNFLOWER...PLEASE !
