Invitation Design Brief
I need a wedding invitation designed.
The language will be in Turkish, I will send the full translated text of the selected design.
Here are some details that might be useful:
Getting married: Can Köklü (Groom) and Gizem Yakmaz (Bride)
Gizem will be changing last name to Köklü and drop Yakmaz.
We first met in May 21 2011 (blind date set up by close friends)
Proposal was in May 20 2012 (one year including the leap day :-))
Engagement date July 14 2012 (don't really have to include in design, but up to you)
Wedding date December 22 2012
Wedding location: Mövenpick Hotel - Levent, Istanbul
Invitees: 250-300 people - personal friends (aged 24-31), family and their friends (aged 40 and up mostly)
Updates
Just uploaded some sample invites to give some directions for submissions.

Hi,

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I'll be posting detailed comments about every design by Monday. As well as Turkish wordings... (The grammar rules will probably change the layouts in most cases).

Requirements
Must have
- The following details must be included in the text:
Date and location of the wedding
RSVP date and phone number (just use a dummy number & date for now)
The fonts used in the design must support Turkish characters both in lower case and upper case: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Turkish_characters
Must have image(s)/icon(s) etc. A text only approach will not be acceptable.
Images that look like they came out of Microsoft Word's clip-art gallery will not be acceptable either.
Nice to have
- This is a fantastic example:

These can also offer some inspiration: http://www.omgimgettingmarried.com/2011/11/tuesday-top-10-awesome-infographic-wedding-invitations/
I'm not firm on this, but the less color there is, the better.
If you are using letter-press etc methods, please let me know if you can get them printed and shipped to Turkey. I can pay for these services separately
Should not have
- Should be printable on regular paper without having fold or cut in irregular shapes. (1 or 2 folds to make an envelop shape is OK.)
Should not be larger than 20cm on either side.
Should not have small print (many older invitees)
No religious themes of any kind or affiliation.
