Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new photography business that specializes in high school senior photography. I provide senior girls a unique photo shoot that includes hair and makeup, exclusive locations, an editorial/fashion-style session, and artistic edits to create custom portraiture. The style of the portraits are typically modern, urban, with rich color and texture.

I'm looking for more that just a wordmark logo. I would like the logo to incorporate an abstract element. This design element could include the initials MG, but does not have to.

A couple of things that will better pinpoint what I'm looking for:


* I like some designs with a "hand-written" font, but not ones that look like messy hand-writing and not ones that look like fancy script. The font is hard to nail for me, so I have attached a file of another photographer's logo showing a font I like. Having said this, I won't necessarily choose a design with a hand-written font, because, again, it has to be the right font.
* I prefer designs that DO NOT have a photography-related symbol or graphic, like a camera or aperture.
