I''d also like to remind you all that in the brief we asked for the designs to explore the use of the sultan font and the New York Yankees baseball cap style of overlapping letters (NYY, NYC) but instead using SYD (for sydney). Later we might do London or Beijing or Melbourne or Perth etc...

We are also open to an additional idea to use a simple icon/tablet format (like an iphone app icon) with one component being a simple generic icon (.e.g. heart or wings) and the other being the city (as per NYY above). Two icons sitting next to each other. We can add a third icon later for the event series (8sx.co). 

So for example tshirts would have three icons SYD+heart+8sx perhaps in a square with rounded corners.

Just an idea, but this would work well as we expand to other cities and event types.
