Logo Design Brief

We are Anthony Mobility. We are looking for a company logo for our corporate identity and for creation of business cards. Who we are: Anthony Mobility provides a wide range of home medical supplies and equipment to help the elderly and home-bound maintain a healthy lifestyle. Anthony Mobility offers convenience and selection. We offer hundreds of products that can be personally delivered right to our customer's home. The convenience of home delivery allows our customers privacy and flexibility to obtain the products best suited for their specific needs. We are a start up company in West Covina, California. Our primary customers are the elderly who are home bound. Our strategy is to provide subscription services with personal delivery of our products. Our initial store front will be an ecommerce website... we will post another project for the website graphics/artwork later. To name some of the products we sell: Personal mobility aids, wheel chairs, walkers, canes, Transfer Chairs, Bathroom Chairs, Incontinence products. Inspiration of our Company Name: Anthony: We decided on Anthony because we are inspired by Saint Anthony. In the Catholic faith, St. Anthony is the patron saint for the elderly. He is also the patron saint for amputees. Our inspiration to help the elderly and medically home bound comes from the stories and works of St. Anthony. Mobility: In speaking with elders... we find that one of the most important things in their life is to stay mobile. It's more difficult for elders (or those injured) to move around on their own, so they rely heavily on others. Mobility is equal to being independent (or not dependent on others)... Mobility equals normal life. The work that we do is an Inspiration and a calling. We focus and the needs of our customers because we care about what they are going through... we imagine our grandparents, our parents, and even ourselves coming into a stage in our lives where we may need these types of services... and we imagine how we would like to be treated. We want to be treated with dignity, respect, understanding, compassion, and love. Our logo should communicate compassion for the elderly who desire to improve or regain their mobility and it should embody happy feelings of being independent and mobile. We seek a stylish and professional logo that's polished and without too much detail. Neither image nor words should overpower the other. We are very open to your creative ideas.

Updates

We thank all the people who have submitted ideas so far. Some of the ideas submitted are emphasizing the name of the company more than an image that portrays the company.  We wish to select a logo that doesn't emphasize the name more than an original image that portrays independence, happiness, and mobility... and a logo that can be easily recognized as we build brand identity.

We would like to see a few more ideas before making a final selection.

During the last few days, we have been working with designers making revisions to their designs. We are very happy with a design that has stood out and a designer who has worked to do their best in providing a design we are happy with. We wish to close this project early and make our selection. If you are near completing a design and wish to be considered, then please submit it soon as we wish to move forward. This project will close within the next 24 hours or sooner.
