Graphic Design Brief

Overall concept of our new website:
WeUnite allows people to follow their passions. You are not following your friends, colleagues, celebrities, as you do with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn....you are following people who have the same passion as you. Eg. If you are a keen cyclist, you will be sharing with others just like you, who share your passion.

The brief:
We have a gamification element to the site, where we award members, 'medals' for various achievements. This is what needs to be designed - the concept of the medals.

Initially they will be early adopters, but will be mainstream ABc1 18-45 years post launch. those who have a leaning towards new technology.

• This si not a logo design brief. We have a logo and we have a look and feel. we need some ideas around developing 'medals' for members who achieve various things on the site (rather like foursquare and their badges - but not as jokey as theirs)

Nice to have

• The difficulty of this brief is to create 'medals' which highlight what the medal is for, yet also demonstrate that the medals form part of a theme (there are four themes). so for example, all the medals in the 'Popular' theme could use a certain colour, to show it belongs to that theme. Or a shape?
