Web Design Brief

Hi,

we are a french company working on a online rabbits game for kids, and not kids.

Our website is www.lapino.fr, but you can look at the US version : www.bunnyrace.com

We buy our actual design 2 years ago, but we now think it's too boring and washed out...

We need yours talent to make a really more exacting, more colorful, fresh and dynamic design.

In our game, players have to breed and train rabbits and to make them run races. Players run again friends or players.

Players are kids, between 8 and 15 years. But best players are often parents of these kids !

Our ambiance is clearly funny. We really like if color theme or background look like a nice blue sky, and / or beach. Something that make people happy to come, and say "You are here on holly days to have fun !"

I think the best is if we have 2 layouts, one for the Home page, and one for all other page.

For home page, we are really open to any proposition, we just need to keep our features :
- registration (with rabbit preview)
- connection
- game preview (images slide with small text)
- live race preview (as we have actually)

For other pages layout, we need a layout with a standard container (maybe 850 px width?), and our 2 navigation's bar.

We only need psd, no html integration.

Requirements

Must have

• We already have some characters, like Mr Turtle at the home page and our rabbits. We want to keep all of them, so new design have to match with there style (carton).
  
  If you create an account, you will see we have a big nav bar with 6 tabs, and a little top bar. We absolutely need them to keep a easy navigation in website.
  
  We also need some proposition of element style, like h1, h2, h3, hr, inputs, buttons, notification bubble, etc... So we can work to improve all our pages.

Nice to have

• I think the actual website is a little to wide (about 1000px width). Maybe something like 900px - 850px is more elegant ?
  In this case, we can arrange pages to deal with it.
  
  It can be cool if major colors are stil blue and green, to match a little with actual colors. But it's no very important.

Should not have

• We don't want too big header picture (for the all pages layout). I mean, players have to focus on the content.
  
  We don't want photo realistic style, our style is cartoon.
  
  We don't want flash. But Js animations are ok.
