Logo Design Brief

MCT is a bus company in Greater Manchester, delivering a range of services from Scheduled Routes, accessible door-to-door services, NHS solutions and mobile health centres.

Having grown significantly in the last few years, we have found the business greatly needs to be re-branded to accommodate our professionalising standards.

The logo will be used throughout the business - the usual items such as letterheads, business cards etc (which we will also need designing soon), but will also play a key role in the livery of our vehicles. Examples of the current logo (and the way it is incorporated in to our vehicle livery) are:

Please ignore the web-address (ManCT) and the words Manchester Community Transport - we are moving towards only using 'MCT' to identify the company.

As you can see from the vehicles in the photo's, the current design is busy, bright and... well, cheap! We desire to move to something simpler, cleaner and more professional.

We would prefer to keep the design to one or two colours, nothing too bright or gaudy. The vehicles, during re-branding, will have either a main base colour of white, creme or silver so nothing too light in the logo design.

As it will be used on our website, stationary and vehicles of various sizes, the logo needs to be highly scalable.
