Advertisement Design Brief

I need a 8.5x11 poster that can also be a jpeg for facebook and run as a display ad in print. I would like a facebook cover and profile picture that matches the poster. This is our 8th annual Halloween costume party and is our biggest event of the year.

Copy is as follows: (no particular order

8th Annual MOUNTSTER MASH
Halloween Costume Party
FRIDAY October 31st (need to emphasize date, usually I do it on Saturday.)
$400 in CASH PRIZES awarded at 9pm AND Midnight
DJ 7pm-2am in the tavern
Live music by JUKEBOX JUNKIES in the back room. 9pm.
Drink Specials, Munchies
$5 cover in advance, $10 at the door.
Mount Washington House, 2627 State Route 23, Hillsdale, NY

Target Market(s)

We are a bar and we have live music and a DJ for this party and are awarding for prizes for the best costumes (and other costumer categories.)

Requirements

Must have

• Must communicate the details clearly, be able to read from a distance. Due to the amount of Information we need to convey, I am willng to go 8x14 poster size. The emphasis should really be on "Mountster Mash". "8th annual" is not very important and should be weighted less than Mountster Mash.

Should not have

• shouldn't be too scary. I've had shop owners tell me that some are too scary to hang in their stores.
